What you’ll be doing
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting and financial transactions.
- Prepare and maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
- Prepare payroll and ensure timely processing of statutory deductions.
- Handle statutory obligations and submissions, including ZRA, NAPSA, NHIMA and PAYE.
- Prepare financial reports and provide accurate financial information to management.
- Maintain proper accounting and inventory-related records for the spare-parts warehouse.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting, tax and statutory requirements.
- Support audits and other financial reviews when required.
What we’re looking for
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Membership or affiliation with a recognized professional accounting body, preferably ZICA.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- High level of integrity, accuracy and confidentiality.
- Experience in the automotive or heavy-duty truck spare-parts industry is an added advantage.
