About the Role:
As a Principal Repayment Executive, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the timely and efficient repayment of loans, contributing directly to the success of our organization. Your responsibilities will encompass managing and monitoring repayment activities, establishing relationships with our customers, and implementing strategies to optimize repayment processes. This role requires a keen understanding of our business, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to fostering positive relationships with our customers.
Management: This role reports to the Repayments amp; Collections Associate Location: Lusaka, Zambia
Your Responsibilities: - Train and onboard Repayment Executives (REs)
- Be responsible for a cohort of REs and ensure daily, weekly, and monthly targets are met for different metrics including Promises to Pay (PTP) booked, PTPs upheld, calls attempted and completed, etc.
- Quality Assurance: Listen in to calls made by REs to monitor quality, identify areas of improvement and coach REs on how to improve their skills
- Conduct Boss Calls to difficult farmers after they have been escalated by REs
- Creatively determine alternative ways to reach evasive farmers and guide/coach REs to reach them
- Use Technology to track performance of REs and repayment overall, by using dashboards and tables. Identify areas for improvement from the data viewed and analyzed
- Support the engineering team in continually improving the provided tools by sharing feedback about bugs or areas for technological improvement
- Own performance management process and conduct the exercise at regular intervals
- Draw insights from dashboards, prepare summaries and make recommendations
Requirements: - 2+ years experience in Repayments or Customer Service
- A University Degree qualification from an accredited institution
- Should be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and Email
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Experience in a fast paced start-up environment is an added advantage
- Attention to detail
